SPEAKER BIO | HEADSHOT | CURRICULUM VITAE

Dr. Neill is a Career Educator dedicated to supporting Students, Families, Universities, Colleagues, and Schools across the globe.

His passion stems from his love of working on behalf of students, something that was instilled in him early in his career as a boarding school “triple threat” (teacher, coach, dorm parent), which has persisted as a fundamental value within him. Dr. Neill sees the fundamental role of “responsible adults in the lives of children” as being that of advocates, a function that exists in everything that he does.

For the past twenty-two years, Dr. Neill has accrued significant experience in all facets of school life, including access, inclusion, equity, administration, leadership, coaching, counseling, college counseling, and teaching.

Having spent his career among six outstanding private schools on four continents, he has developed an expertise in a host of facets within schools and has spent the past ten years providing consulting services to heads of school, boards of trustees, department chairs, administration, counseling and college counseling offices, and families.

Dr. Neill is an avid traveler and reader. At last count, he has visited some 40 countries, and he has visited over 300 university campuses in 16 countries. He also loves reading, rotating among nonfiction and pop psychology and poetry. He is the proud father of two children and two dogs. On the weekends, he and his family can usually be found at the beach or exploring Brazil.
